Print Excellence
Model Graphics & Media is the proud recipient of five 2006 Print Excellence Awards from the Printing Industries Association, serving Northern Kentucky and Ohio (PIANKO).
“As the number of contestants continues to increase, the competition becomes even greater,” said PIANKO president Jim Cunningham. “To be chosen by our judges as a 2006 Print Excellence Award winner is outstanding because it truly recognizes the highest quality work in the industry. Our members, and the customers they represent, should be incredibly proud of their winning product or pieces.”
PIANKO's Print Excellence Awards Competition is held annually and rewards Ohio and Northern Kentucky printers that demonstrate excellence in 32 categories. This year member companies submitted more than 550 printed pieces and three out-of-state expert judges ranked them in a regional competition.
Each of the regional Gold Award winners are then entered in an association-wide competition for Best of Category and Best of Show. Model Graphics & Media is happy to announce that it won two Gold Awards and three Bronze Awards in June 2007 at the Grand Ceremony in Columbus, OH.
“We are very proud of any awards that recognize our unique printing capabilities. Our focus this year centered on our latest technology--digital printing,” said Model Graphic's President Steve Fleissner. “Our new HP WS4050 Indigo digital printer arrived in January 2006. Since then, we have found that the unique matches inherent to the digital printing process are what set us apart from the competition.”
“As a result, we are able to produce as few as a handful of labels or film packages for sales samples, trade show samples and test markets, as well as full production runs for attention-grabbing, high performing products.”
